How He Came In
In this month’s SPINAL CORRECTION SPOTLIGHT, we are reviewing the comparison x-rays of a 46-year-old male, who is one of our international clients. He has been under care since 2022, when he is in the country. We saw him last in February of this year. Those x-rays are on the left and they represent his improvements after six months of corrective care. The x-rays on the right represent 9 months away, without receiving any maintenance care, since his last visit in February.
Clinical Findings — January 2024 Spinal Correction Spotlight
Patient: 46-year-old male, international client, in the military in his country
Presenting complaints: Headaches and back pain
History: Under care since 2022 when in the country; told in his country that he needed spinal surgery
X-ray type: AP cervical and AP lumbar
February 2023 X-ray: After six months of corrective care: great structural improvement, symptomatically clear
December 2023 X-ray: After nine months without maintenance care: worsening of compensatory spinal subluxation
Current status: About one month back under care; subluxation presentation improving
Cervical AP — February 2023 & December 2023
Lumbar AP — February 2023 & December 2023
What the X-Rays Showed: Compensatory Subluxation Returning
The images (on the left) show the condition of his spine after 6 months of corrective care, which produced great structural improvement. He was symptomatically clear, despite not yet being structurally ideal. In his country, he is in the military and was told he needed surgery to resolve his spinal issues. Those surgeries would effectively exclude him from service and therefore affect his quality of life and ability to provide for his family. The images on the right represent his spinal condition after 9 months of not receiving any maintenance spinal care, and show a worsening of compensatory spinal subluxation. He has been under care for about 1 month and his headaches and back pain have slowly increased since getting back under care. Although he is improving with his subluxation presentation, his symptoms are increasing during this time of healing.
Why I Am Showcasing This Case
I am showcasing this client because of the importance of maintaining some frequency of spinal subluxation checkups. It takes a lot of sacrificing of time, effort and money to make spinal improvements. Through toxins, thoughts, and trauma, and TIME, subluxations can reform and erode the spinal stability that you have worked so hard to achieve.
Reminder: I am NOT the healer. I move the BONE; God does the HEALING. You are a self-healing organism, and when you are subluxation free, not only does YOUR spine heal, but YOUR body expresses life, the way YOU were created to do!
