His Story, in His Words
“I was in my senior year of study at Florida State, pursuing the beginnings of a career in medicine, and I was invited to a friend's house who had just gotten his Florida license. I never really knew about chiropractic before, hadn't been adjusted before… All I know is that I was suffering from severe acid reflux, maybe three or four times a week… I had sinusitis issues… as well, and my friend, my mentor, my chiropractor, he educated me about the brain body connection, about how the body needs a strong brain body connection to function properly, and that by correcting something called a subluxation, that I would restore my body function.”
“So, I received my first adjustment by him… that Monday morning, I woke up without any heartburn, without any acid reflux, and without any sinus issues. I was actually able to breathe out of both sides of my nose for the first time in probably a good six or seven years… and I changed my major, I changed my area of study.”
“I've come to realize that healing happens from within, it happens from a strong brain body connection, it happens when your body is in a place where it can heal itself, and that's what chiropractors do, we correct the interference to the natural healing ability of the body.”

The Philosophy
The philosophy is simple: the body carries an Innate Intelligence, that intelligence is expressed through the nervous system, and a vertebral subluxation interferes with its full expression. What is a subluxation?
